BIAS Wins Healthy Workplace Award
Atlanta Business Chronicle Ranks BIAS among Healthiest Employers
Looking for a company that truly values the health and wellbeing of its employees? Look no further than BIAS. The Atlanta Business Chronicle just named BIAS as one of the Top 10 Healthiest Employers in Atlanta. Joining the list at #7 in the small business category, BIAS was honored to be recognized and Chris Netzband, VP of Applications Services as well as the BIAS Wellness Warriors Chairman, represented the company during the awards ceremony held at the Georgia Aquarium on February 12, 2015.
BIAS launched a dedicated wellness program in 2013 called the BIAS Wellness Warriors with the mission of enhancing organizational and individual health by fostering healthier lifestyles through nutrition, exercise and stress reduction by example, communication and programs. The program has been an incredible success and during the past two years, BIAS has brought wellness to forefront of our corporate culture by hosting seminars, classes and team activities focused on health, nutrition and fitness.
With a motto of Healthy life: Productive life, the BIAS Wellness Warriors have done a great job promoting and achieving their mission. A monthly wellness newsletter now reaches all employees with insightful health and nutrition tips, easy-to-make recipes, and stories featuring healthy behavior of employees on the job as well as at home with family and friends. Plus, everyone is encouraged and invited to attend events like 5K runs that keep us moving as well as classes that offer critical stress relief, including a Meditation Class for BIAS employees designed to relieve tension and teach easy yet relaxing breathing techniques.
We’re proud of our fitness achievements and the vital work of the BIAS Wellness Warriors. We encourage everyone to stay active and, on your downtime, look for the upcoming article highlighting BIAS’ Atlanta’s Healthiest Employee Award in the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
